Ukrainian pilots arrested for drug smuggling. Spanish police have dismantled a drug trafficking operation using Ukrainian helicopter pilots to fly narcotics over the Strait of Gibraltar. Two Ukrainians were arrested in southern Spain, one of whom has been named as Vitor Blaha, former Ukrainian police colonel. The arrests were carried out in January and included nine individuals, as well as the seizing of two helicopters. Pilots are reportedly paid €150,000 per drug run.
